Capacitance definition
Capacitance is the ratio of the electric charge stored on a conductor or capacitor to the voltage across it. It is used to size capacitors and to relate charge and voltage in electric circuits.
C=\frac{Q}{V}What the symbols mean
| capacitance (farads, F) | |
| electric charge stored (coulombs, C) | |
| voltage across the capacitor (volts, V) |
