Magnetic permeability relation
Relates the magnetic flux density inside a material to the magnetic field strength through the material's permeability. It is used for linear magnetic materials to find the flux density produced by a given field strength.
\boldsymbol{B} = \mu \boldsymbol{H}What the symbols mean
| magnetic flux density (tesla, T) | |
| magnetic permeability of the material (henry per metre, H/m) | |
| magnetic field strength (ampere per metre, A/m) |
