Ohm's law (resistance form)
Defines electrical resistance as the ratio of voltage across a conductor to the current flowing through it. It is used to compute resistance from measured voltage and current.
R = \frac{U}{I}What the symbols mean
| electrical resistance (ohms, \Omega) | |
| voltage across the element (volts, V) | |
| electric current through the element (amperes, A) |
