Energy efficiency
Energy efficiency is the ratio of useful energy output to the energy supplied to a machine or process. It is used to compare how much of the input energy is converted into useful work or output.
\eta=\frac{A}{Q}What the symbols mean
| energy efficiency, a dimensionless ratio often expressed as a percentage | |
| useful energy output (work or energy delivered) | |
| energy input supplied to the machine or process |
