Mass density
Mass density gives the mass per unit volume of a material or body, with the differential form applying it at a point in a continuous medium. For a uniform sample it reduces to mass divided by volume.
\rho = \frac{\mathrm{d} m}{\mathrm{d} V}What the symbols mean
| mass density (kg/m^3) | |
| mass (kg) | |
| volume (m^3) |
