Ideal gas law
Relates the pressure, volume, amount and absolute temperature of an ideal gas. It is used to estimate how a gas's state changes under typical conditions where real-gas effects are small.
PV = nRTWhat the symbols mean
| pressure of the gas (Pa) | |
| volume of the gas (m^3) | |
| amount of substance (mol) | |
| molar gas constant, about 8.314 J/(mol·K) | |
| thermodynamic temperature (K) |
