Velocity under constant acceleration
Gives the velocity of an object at time t when it starts with initial velocity v0 and accelerates uniformly at rate a. It is one of the standard kinematic equations used for straight-line motion with constant acceleration.
v = v_0 + atWhat the symbols mean
| final velocity at time t (m/s) | |
| initial velocity at t = 0 (m/s) | |
| constant acceleration (m/s^2) | |
| elapsed time (s) |
